ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Andre Dickens has been reelected to a second term as Atlanta’s 61st mayor.

On Tuesday, Dickens defeated challengers Helmut Domagalski, Kalema Jackson and Eddie Andrew Meredith in what was a relatively quiet and low-key challenge to his reelection.

The election was called for Dickens around 8:15 p.m.

Prior to taking office in 2022, Dickens served on the Atlanta City Council and as the chief development officer for a tech-based nonprofit.
