FORT GREENE — TWO NEW BAKERY pop-ups have opened two doors away from each other in Fort Greene, turning the block of Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue into a morning destination , according to Grubstreet.
Laurel Bakery now operates out of Margot, offering croissants, speculoos-flavored morning buns and chocolate cream–filled pan Suisse. Two doors down, Amanda’s Good Morning Café serves New Orleans–inspired beignets, grits and breakfast sandwiches at Strange Delight.
Each operates on alternate days – Amanda’s on Mondays and Tuesdays, Laurel on Fridays through Sundays – ensuring there’s always something freshly baked midweek.
