WACO, Texas (KWTX) — A 25-year-old Waco man faces burglary and child endangerment charges after police say he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home and attacked her while she held their child, according to an affidavit.
Police responded to a burglary in progress call at 2:58 a.m at 963 S 12th St. The victim told 911 dispatchers that someone was trying to kick in her back door and that she believed it was her “baby daddy” Gregory.
According to the affidavit, the situation escalated when Gregory Irvin moved to the front of the home. A neighbor called police saying they could hear screaming and crying, and that it sounded like someone had gotten inside.
