Authorities in New Mexico made an arrest in connection with a homicide in Cicero.
According to a statement from the New Mexico State Police, a License Plate Reader received a hit that a stolen vehicle from Illinois was on Interstate 40 in Quay County, New Mexico. The vehicle was connected to an ongoing homicide investigation being conducted by the Cicero Police Department.
The state patrol office conducted a traffic stop of that vehicle and arrested the two people inside the car, a man and a juvenile male.
The man was identified as Naman Alfredo Vazquez. He was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
Cicero officers contacted the New Mexico State Police and confirmed the stolen vehicle was registered to a victim of a homicide in Cicero and said Vazquez was their primary suspect. C
