LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - After a decade of development, Southern Webb County’s new fire station on Mangana Hein Road is officially open. This vital facility will serve Southern Laredo, Rio Bravo, and El Cenizo, significantly reducing emergency response times.
The station is staffed by highly trained firefighters, a captain, two drivers, and an ambulance crew, all equipped to handle any emergency. Commissioner Jesse Gonzalez confirmed the station will be supplied with water from the Río Bravo treatment plant.
Commissioner Gonzalez also announced a future health clinic project on Highway 83, near Rio Bravo, slated for early 2026. This new fire station marks a significant step forward in ensuring the safety and well-being of Southern Webb County residents.
