Starbucks union members have voted in favor of an open-ended strike starting November 13. The potential strike is set to coincide with Red Cup Day, typically one of Starbucks' busiest days when free reusable red cups are distributed.
Starbucks Workers United, the union representing the workers, stated that the strike will proceed unless a contract agreement is finalized. The union did not specify the number of stores that would be impacted by the strike.
Unionized Starbucks locations are present in Spokane, Walla Walla and Missoula, among others.
