The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing defensive tackle Brodric Martin off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston.

Since Martin was signed off a practice squad, he now has to stay on the Steelers’ active roster for at least the next three weeks. He will slot in where Daniel Ekuale did as a rotational nose tackle. Ekuale is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Martin, 26, was a third-round pick by the Lions in the 2023 NFL Draft, but he lasted just two seasons with the team before they moved on from him. He signed with the Chiefs in August and has been on their practice squad ever since.
