As the shutdown stretches past the 35-day mark, thousands of federal workers remain on furlough. We spoke with Isaac Stein, a 31-year-old furloughed IRS lawyer, who pivoted during the government shutdown to pursue running a hot dog stand. Stein told us that Shysters, located near the Capitol in Washington D.C., is also the culmination of a lifelong dream.
