RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) -- Western Dakota Tech in Rapid City hosted high school juniors and seniors today in a scrubs camp, which provided hands-on learning across multiple professions.

There were 185 students from 15 different schools across the area participating in the Scrubs Camp.

"They are here today to experience hands-on activities for all of our healthcare programs. So this is one of the largest camps that we do throughout the school year and that is really a benefit to our high school juniors and seniors so they can get a feel for health care and what they might be passionate in," WDT Community Relations Specialist Tanya Antijunti said.

For many students interested in a medical career, this camp shows how many opportunities are in front of them.
