Treat of the Day: Eight facilities at Vernon Center were damaged by EF3 tornado in 2022

VERNON, Texas (KBTX) - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service recently reopened several facilities that play a critical role in research programs.

In May 2022, eight buildings were damaged or destroyed by an EF3 tornado at the Vernon Center, located near the Texas Panhandle.

Those buildings received complete renovations and are now operational, nearly three years after the storm.
