PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Beachlers Tire and Automotive Center is giving away another car through its program, "Keys For Hope."

This year, a family received a 2015 Jeep Patriot. The vehicle was donated by a Beachlers customer who previously went through a rough patch in their life and wanted to pay it forward.

Owner Brett Beachler said he was inspired by a friend to start the program.

“I want to do something like this. We had these opportunities come through often where people were in need and we heard about stories,” Beachler said. “A friend of mine in Eugene, Oregon, had this type of program and I said, I'm going to use that, and we're going to take all of that last year as a first time. A fantastic story of the person who received it. We're doing it again this year.”
