BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Crews began boarding up windows and installing security fencing around the remains of three buildings destroyed in a massive fire in Birmingham’s Five Points South last week.
Kinsey Copeland, an aesthetician at Blush salon, said she feels numb seeing what remains of the business she called home.
“It’s so sad to see something that we all worked on and poured our hearts and souls into and just the historic landmark that this is,” Copeland said.
Copeland said the salon is looking for a new home. Since the group of women who worked there were close, she said the plan is to stick together.
“We’re on the hunt. We’re looking. We know God will provide something when the time is right. Hopefully sooner than later, but it’s a waiting game at this point,” Copeland sa
