JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - Former Johnson County Executive Director Guillermo Morales filed a wrongful termination lawsuit this week against the county and supervisors over a year after being fired .

The lawsuit is against Johnson County, Supervisors Rod Sullivan, Lisa Green-Douglass, and former supervisor Royceann Porter. He claims wrongful termination and alleges supervisors partially fired him because he’s a Latino man. He also claims the defendants conspired against him.

The lawsuit claims supervisors gave Morales no performance warnings or disciplinary measures before firing him.
