Although we are still in this trend of warmer than average temperatures (average high being 59F), wind gusts of up to 30mph today helped us to feel slightly cooler. We hold on to some of those winds as we look into tomorrow, although they will lose some of their strength, and will shift from north to south, pulling in more of that warm air. This, in addition to the process of the sun heating up the surface and overall lack of many clouds will aid the high temperature to reach almost 70F on Friday.
Worth noting is the forecasted proximity of snow- There is a chance for snow accumulation in Iowa this weekend. While our neighbors to the north will obtain low enough temperatures and a moist enough atmosphere for this to occur, the most we could see this weekend is some rain, with a 10% chance
