ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCBD) – Amazon announced Wednesday that its new last-mile delivery facility is now fully operational in Orangeburg.

The Orangeburg delivery center will expedite the delivery process for surrounding customers and create dozens of job opportunities for residents.

Made possible through a county land transaction, the facility is situated on 10 acres in the John W. Matthews Jr. Industrial Park. Full-time employees will have access to comprehensive benefits, including full health, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) with a 50% company match, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave.

Additionally, full-time employees have access to continuing education opportunities with the company’s upskilling program, Career Choice.
