WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — This past weekend, a Prairie Grove woman faced the possibility of not seeing her husband for a long time after he was arrested and taken to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center out of state.
On Nov. 1, Waldin Sanchez, 27, was arrested in Prairie Grove after a car accident and now faces charges for driving without a license and careless driving.

On Oct. 31, Sanchez allegedly drove off the road and hit a utility box, according to the Prairie Grove Police Department. When officers arrived, they smelled alcohol, and because of a language barrier, he was taken to the Washington County Detention Center for sobriety testing.
