RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man shot in the face at a Raleigh bus stop has died. Raleigh Police have made an arrest, and people who ride the bus are reacting.

34-year-old Antwan Sanders is facing murder charges. Raleigh police say he shot 34-year-old Chase Ferguson on East Millbrook Road on Monday evening. It's a shooting that has those who use public transit reacting.

"Sad and shocking about that happening," said James Rhynes.

"Scary to hear something like that happen close to you," said Melinda Morgan.

The City of Raleigh declined to speak on camera about the incident, but confirmed it didn't happen on the bus. Police scanners said the shooting could have stemmed from an altercation on a bus.
