LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Clark County has more than half a million dollars annually available to help residents pay for car emission repairs through its Smog Free Clark County program.
The program provides up to $975 to help vehicle owners fix emission problems and pass smog tests. The county operates the program to reduce emissions in Clark County and help people pay for what could be expensive repairs.
“We provided up to $975 voucher so they can get their cars back out on the road so they can get to work, pick up their kids from school, or whatever they have to do,” said Kevin MacDonald, Public Information Officer with Clark County’s Department of Environment and Sustainability.
Program requirements and process
To qualify for the program, vehicles must be between model years 2006-1968
