UTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Tuesday, a driver died after a traffic collision on southbound I-15 near milepost 285. The victim's family has identified her as Chelsey Carlson.

On November 4, 2025, a dump truck that was hauling a flatbed trailer was stopped on the right shoulder on southbound I-15 at the point of the mountain, between Lehi and Draper.

According to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), around 7:10 p.m., the driver of a passenger car collided with the back of the trailer. Unfortunately, the driver of the passenger car was fatally injured.

A family member has confirmed that the victim was Chelsey Carlson.
