BLOOMINGTON ( 25News Now ) - A tiny home, transitional housing village for Bloomington’s unhoused population, will have a delayed opening due to shipping issues.
Homesweet Home Ministries is still constructing the Bridge housing complex, but CEO Matt Burgess said it will now open in January instead of December. When done, the village will house 48 people for up to six months.
Burgess said they are waiting on a piece of electrical circuitry that will help power the entire complex. He said he hopes winter’s cold snap can hold off until they get that important piece of equipment.
