ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WROC) - It's unlikely that anyone thought there would be any playing time for Jordan Poyer or Jordan Phillips this season.

But, there they were against the Chiefs.

Poyer was fourth on the team in tackles with five, and Phillips was the hero on the first-half goal line stand thanks to key pressures on first and second down.

Their mid-30s success has been a mix of humility and confidence.

"Grateful to even be here, talking to you all. I came in here in August, and it was probably one of the best mindsets coming in that I've had going into a season," Poyer said. "I felt, you know, just the idea of coming in like a rookie, training like a rookie. If I was going to play, that would happen. If I wasn't, I was okay with that as well."
