SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - At a time of great need, a celebration took place in South Bend on Wednesday.

Dismas House held the grand opening of its new Dismas Hub.

The Dismas Hub will serve as a reentry point for people recently released from incarceration.

The staff of Dismas House say they exist because no one thrives alone.

For people leaving incarceration, community is hard to find.

A bold symbol of that sense of community is the gigantic mural unveiled at the grand opening.
