PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - The Portland Police Bureau has identified the victim who was found dead in a parking lot in Downtown Portland by police on Sunday morning.

According to police, the victim is identified as 20-year-old Gresham resident Taylor Ritter, and police confirmed he died from a gunshot wound. His aunt tells FOX 12 the family is heartbroken learning his life has been cut short after being shot.

“Heartbroken, screaming, sad, couldn’t believe it,” said Ritter’s aunt Kayleigh.

Just a few ways Ritter’s aunt Kayleigh said she felt after learning her nephew was found dead by police early Sunday morning. According to police, 20-year-old Ritter was found dead in a parking lot near Southwest 3rd Avenue. He died of a gunshot wound.
