Dodger Stadium— Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez introduced a City Council motion (page 11) to have the city oppose the proposed aerial gondola between Union Station and Dodger Stadium and urge Metro to deny reapproval of the project following submission of updated environmental impact documents.

$17 million spent blocking squatters

El Sereno —State officials have now spent more than $17 million on private security firms and extra police patrols to keep more people from moving into vacant houses owned by Caltrans. In 2020, people without housing moved illegally into homes that were supposed to have been demolished to make way for extending the 710 Freeway. That plan, however, was canceled in 2018 , and the houses have remained otherwise
