Spreading awareness on safe use of medical devices

AIIMS Bhopal’s Initiative

Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal continues to take meaningful steps toward promoting medical safety and public awareness. In line with this mission, the Department of Pharmacology organized a special awareness campaign at Government Middle School, Bhojpur, Raisen. The event was conducted by the Medical Devices Adverse Event Reporting Monitoring Centre and Regional Training Centre (RTC), in collaboration with the Department of Community and Family Medicine.

During the session, Dr. Aman, Senior Resident, and Mohd Faizan Khan from the Department of Pharmacology educated students about the safe use of medical devices and the importance of reporting any adverse events. Practical demonstrations were given on the correct use of common devices such as thermometers, blood pressure
