November got a little brighter in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, thanks to a rare supermoon.

This month’s full moon was Wednesday. At the same time, the moon’s orbit will bring it closer to Earth than usual. This cosmic combo is called a supermoon.

The “beaver supermoon” is the closest supermoon of the year.
