BOSTON — While the Celtics started slow against the Wizards, they came away with a much-needed 136-107 victory Wednesday at TD Garden. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak as the Celtics improved to 4-5 on the season.
Josh Minott was everywhere, scoring a career-high 21 points, making Wednesday’s “Name to Know” Player of the Game. The Name to Know Player of the Game is sponsored by John’s Sewer and Drain Cleaning, the Name to Know when your drains don’t flow .
It was a stellar night for Minott, who finished shooting 8-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-6 on 3-pointers. He also added five rebounds on the night. Minott’s pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter were sneakily important as the Celtics found themselves down double-digits to the Wizards to start the night.
