MURRAY — Murray attorney Chris Hendricks filed paperwork in Frankfort Wednesday to run for Calloway County’s district court judge.

Calloway County District Court is in the state’s 42nd Judicial District. In a news release, Hendricks said fair, efficient and accessible courts are critical to a stable community, and he is dedicated to upholding those standards in Calloway District Court.

“A seasoned legal professional, Hendricks brings a deep understanding of Calloway County’s justice system, from law enforcement to the courtroom,” the release said. “He began his career as a dispatcher and deputy with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office before serving as a probation and parole officer for the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
