Ava Donnelly and Amber Wooding each had a goal and an assist, as Lawrence defeated Brick Township, 3-1, in a first-round, NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 playoff in Lawrenceville.

The second-seeded Cardinals (12-7) will host seventh-seeded Steinert in a sectional quarterfinal Saturday.

Emma Skinner added her 10th goal of the season for Lawrence.

Brick Township slipped to 5-13-1 despite a goal from Emma Canfield.
