The Traffic Awareness Month (November) was inaugurated on Monday at the Reserve Police Lines by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order).

The event opened with a traffic awareness rally featuring racer mobile units, pink scooters, TRVs, and patrol vehicles. Students were also briefed on the 5E (Education, Enforcement, Engineering, Emergency Care, and Environment) model of road safety, educated about the ‘Golden Hour’ and the Good Samaritan Law.

Month-long activities announced

Officials stated that throughout November, traffic police will conduct public outreach activities in collaboration with voluntary groups. These include nukkad nataks, painting and essay competitions, and awareness programme
