Some unidentified men hurled stones and slippers at Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha's convoy in Bihar's Lakhisarai district on polling day, prompting the BJP to accuse the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of orchestrating the attack.
Sinha, who is contesting the Bihar Assembly elections from the Lakhisarai seat, claimed the assault was carried out by RJD supporters attempting to block his visit to Khoriari village.
Visuals of the incident showed a crowd surrounding Sinha's vehicle, shouting slogans and preventing his convoy from moving ahead.
