Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha’s convoy came under attack on polling day in Lakhisarai, where angry villagers hurled stones, cow dung, and slippers at his vehicle. While Sinha alleged that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) workers orchestrated the assault, police sources and local reports suggest the confrontation was driven largely by public frustration over poor roads and long-standing civic neglect.

Sinha, a three-time MLA contesting again from Lakhisarai , was visiting Khoriari village when his convoy was surrounded by residents shouting slogans and blocking the road. Visuals from the scene showed villagers chanting “murdabad” and refusing to let the convoy pass.
