WATERTOWN — Watertown High School's volleyball team is putting things together at the right time.
The Arrows pushed their winning streak to eight games with a 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-14) Eastern South Dakota Conference victory over Yankton on Monday, Nov. 3 in the Civic Arena.
The streak ended with a 3-0 (25-8, 25-19, 25-15) ESD road loss to No. 1 and three-time defending state Class AA champion Harrisburg on Tuesday, Nov. 4 but Watertown's 20-9 record has secured a potential top 5 seed and what should be a home SoDak 16 state-qualifying match on Thursday, Nov. 13 in the Civic Arena.
The Arrows will be gunning for a third-straight trip to the state tourney Nov. 20-22 at Rapid City.
