Michigan has 11 of the top 100 places to retire in the entire country. That’s according to a new ranking from U.S. News and World Report .

And not only that, Midland comes in at the very top of the ranking which lists 250 cities nationwide.

The national publication says it first looked at data from more than 850 cities across the country to see how well they meet the retirement needs and expectations of Americans.

That number was then narrowed down to the top 250 with these 11 Michigan cities making the list:

No. 1 Midland

No. 14 - Rochester Hills

No. 15 - Troy

No. 31 - Farmington Hills

No. 41 - Wyoming

No. 47 - Livonia

No. 78 - Niles

No. 80 - Bay City

No. 82 - Traverse City

No. 86 - Sterling Heights

No. 93 - Novi
