A team from DeSimone Consulting Engineering has been working on building something that roamed the earth more than 60 million years ago, made from more than 5,300 cans of tuna and beans.
“This is a life-sized triceratops head, which means that he is essentially 8-foot-by-8-foot-by-8-foot, and this whole sculpture weighs over 1,600 pounds, which is as much as an actual triceratops skull would have weighed," said Katherine Rivera, a structural engineer at the engineering firm, and co-captain of the build team along with fellow engineer Spencer Levenson.
