Disney+ will stop working on older Apple devices due to a new app update that increases minimum operating system requirements.

The streaming service will only be supported on Apple TV HD (4th generation or later), Apple TV 4K, and iPhone/iPad models running iOS 16.5 or later.

The changes will begin Dec. 1.

Disney+ will no longer be available on certain older Apple devices, the company confirmed to FOX.

The company reportedly is moving away from these older devices due to an upcoming app update that will raise minimum operating system requirements for streaming, according to Cord Cutters News.

Disney has already begun notifying subscribers about the incoming changes.
