NEW MEXICO (KRQE) - Mostly clear skies have remained with dry air continuing and mostly calm winds leading to seasonably chilly temperatures, but winds going down the east slopes of the Central Mountains have created a milder-than-normal effect for some out east.
Below-freezing temperatures are confined to some areas in the northwestern corner of the region, while everywhere else from even the northern parts of Rio Grande Valley to the south and east is mostly ranging from the 30s to the low 50s.
Sunshine today will accompany above-normal temperatures. Areas to the north will range from the high 50s to the lower 70s, while upper 60s and 80s will develop from the Rio Grande Valley to southern areas.
