Uttar Pradesh chief minister and prominent BJP star campaigner, Yogi Adityanath, launched a scathing attack on the opposition in Bihar with assembly elections underway on Thursday, urging the electorate to remain united against the “Jungle Raj" and “Mafia Raj" allegedly propagated by the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
Addressing rallies in the Bagaha and Ramnagar assembly constituencies ahead of the second phase of the elections on November 11, Adityanath emphasised that caste divisions only invite exploitation and instability.
Adityanath’s speeches centred on a hard-hitting, historically loaded phrase that linked division with defeat and suffering: “Jab bhi bante the, toh kate the (Whenever we were divided, we were cut)!"
