ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Police are searching for a group of men who allegedly attacked and robbed a man near a southwest Atlanta gas station this past summer.

Officers responded to a strong-arm robbery around midnight on June 13 outside the Texaco gas station located at 2716 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW.

The victim told police that a group of about five men surrounded and attacked him after he was dropped off by a bus near the gas station.

Police say the suspects tried to “take his phone but failed.” However, they ran away with the victim’s phone charger.
