Several people were arrested last week by Macomb County police during what authorities called an extended narcotics investigation in Wayne County.
The County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) confiscated drugs, firearms, cash and jewelry in the probe, according to Michigan State Police.
“Multiple suspects were arrested and pending investigators reports are being forwarded to the county prosecutor’s office,” COMET officials said Wednesday in a news release.
COMET officers served several search warrants on Oct. 30 during an investigation into a drug trafficking operation. The locations were not revealed.
Detectives seized:
— Over 1,000 prescription pills (alprazolam, hydrocodone, oxycodone, and amphetamine)
— Almost 300 suboxone strips
— 3,300 grams of bulk marijuana
