LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Deputies with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a man stealing items from a hunting blind on Nov. 4.
When the deputies arrived on Riviera Lane, Dusty Lovett, 43, of London, fled on foot down the road.
He was quickly apprehended while hiding under a house.
A stolen buddy heater was recovered, but two rifles taken from the hunting blind are still missing.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Lovett was also wanted on an outstanding parole violation warrant.
He has been charged with two counts of theft by unlawful taking of firearms, theft by unlawful taking, and fleeing or evading police (second degree - on foot).
