British travellers flying to the USA could face disruption from tomorrow as flights in the country could be cut due to the Government shutdown.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said there will be a 10 per cent reduction in air travel capacity at 40 major airports across the UK from November 7.
The move to cut flights comes as air traffic controllers have been reporting issues with fatigue, the head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Bryan Bedford said at a briefing with Duffy, the BBC reports.
Around 1.4million federal workers, from air traffic controllers to park wardens, are working without pay - or are on forced leave - because Congress has not agreed a federal funding budget.
