Two-time champions Mumbai Indians have retained five players from their 2025 squad ahead of WPL 2026 mega auctions. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who led the Mumbai-based franchise to WPL titles in 2023 and 2025, has been retained along with England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt and West Indies captain Hayley Matthews.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is the highest run-getter in WPL history and also holds the record for being the only cricketer to score more than 1000 runs in the WPL. On the other hand, Hayley is the highest wicket-taker in WPL history. Apart from her spin bowling, the West Indies cricketer also opens the batting for Mumbai Indians.
