A Coventry charity shop that has helped hundreds of people across the city will soon be closing. The Betty Ennis Foundation has been serving the community for many years, but will now be shutting its doors for good.

Carrying forward the legacy of community hero Betty Ennis, who passed away in 2019, the Betty Ennis Foundation has been instrumental in supporting people across Willenhall . But the charity will now be closing on Friday, November 14.

Staff said the decision was made with a 'heavy heart' and thanked people for their understanding. Challenges posed by the economic climate have made it 'impossible' to continue operating, they added.

Donations are no longer being accepted. Customers are invited to say their goodbyes ahead of the final day on November 14.
