Jerry Jones made sure he didn’t sit quietly on the deadline day. The Cowboys owner brought in former Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson . The move instantly turned heads in the Big D. But before Wilson could even unpack his bags, the Cowboys linebackers coach had a message waiting for him.
When Dave Borgonzi was asked if it was too early to call Wilson a possible green dot for the Cowboys, he didn’t sugarcoat his answer. “I think that all kind of works itself in practice. I think to sit here and talk about it before we hit the practice field would be unfair.”
That’s as straightforward as it gets. For Borgonzi, reputation doesn’t matter until it translates on the field. He’s got to prove his spot like everyone else. And it’s a crucial chance for Wilson too.
