Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra 's home was heavily damaged by a massive fire Thursday (November 6) morning, officials confirmed via NBC Miami .

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said it received a report at around 4:36 a.m. local time at a single-family residence, which property records confirmed was purchased by Spoelstra for $6 million in 2023. Firefighters found "two structures on the property fully involved" in fire, with flames reported to be "as tall as the trees" upon arrival.
