BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Watervliet man has pleaded guilty in a deadly assault. According to the Saratoga County District Attorney's Office, Cyrus Tetreault, 21, admitted to attacking a man with a large wrench.
Tetreault was arrested on May 31, 2024, after deputies received a call about a fight on Sparrow Drive in Malta. Investigators accused Tetreault of hitting Brian Miller, 53, with a large wrench, and kicking him in the head, resulting in Miller's death.
He was charged with first degree manslaughter and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. In August, he was indicted on multiple charges including manslaughter, assault, attempted assault and tampering with physical evidence.
In court Wednesday, he pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, a class B violent felony.
