COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin is the frontrunner to win college football’s most prestigious award, the Heisman Trophy.
The Buckeyes have reacted accordingly by launching an official campaign — “We Sayin Heisman” — for the redshirt freshman after his performance (316 yards, 4 touchdowns) against Penn State .
While the California native acknowledged the magnitude of being considered for the award, he knows the key to winning it revolves around Ohio State (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) maintaining its success in the win column.
