A nightmare neighbour who ignored court orders and subjected the community to years of relentless anti-social behaviour has been banned from his home.

Mansel Marshall has been evicted from his basement flat on Wellington Street in Gloucester after years of what was described as "serious, threatening anti-social behaviour".

Despite being given a partial closure order in 2022, which bans anyone other than the tenant and emergency services from entering, the 78-year-old is said to have continued his campaign of disruption, causing distress to residents.

One neighbour said: “We hear shouting in the street at night, people asking for drugs, and see people taking drugs on bins. It’s blatant and we don’t feel safe going out.”
