THALASSERY: Assembly Speaker A N Shamseer's sister, A N Amina (42), passed away on Thursday in Kannur. She was a native of Madapeedika in Thalassery. Amina was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode following a heart attack.

Family members:

Husband: MK Nishad (Muscat), Father: Late Komath Usman, Mother: A N Zerena, Children: Fatima Naurin (Chartered Accountant), Ahmed Nishad (B.Tech student, Vellore), and Zara. Another brother: A.N. Shahir.

The funeral will be held at 12 noon on Friday at Vayalalam Juma Masjid Qabaristan.
